According to an article on ZigWheels; a popular Indian automobile website, the Honda Stunner is the second most fuel efficient bike in the 125cc segment. The official mileage claimed by Honda is 68.3 kmpl. Only Hero Glamour, with 69 kmpl, has a higher official fuel economy.

Customer Reviews For Honda Stunner Mileage

Let’s start off with the review from BikeAdvice – the website has a highly positive review of the bike and claims the mileage to be around 66 kmpl. However, comments posted on the review by people who have already tested the bike indicates a more realistic mileage of anything above 60+ km/l. This is also confirmed by posts on IndiaGarage.

On MouthShut, there are over 117 reviews for the Honda Stunner. Overall, these users have given the Stunner an impressive 4 stars out of 5 for fuel consumption (mileage). A majority of the users have reported a mileage of over 55 kmpl. While one user has noted that their mileage spiked up to 62 kmpl on city roads after first service, another customer has reported that their mileage dropped to under 50 after servicing. Overall, despite minor complaints, almost all users seem to be happy with the bike’s mileage.

AutomobileUpdates, another review site, reports a city mileage of 52 kmpl while the same on highways is 66 kmpl. Motorbeam, usually spot on with its mileage updates, does not have a great review of the fuel consumption simply noting a mileage close to 65 kmpl. However Arun Garg from Arunii.com says he only sees a mileage of around 40-45 kmpl in city conditions; nothing spectacular.

So there you go. If you are looking to purchase a Honda CBF Stunner, you do not have much to worry from a mileage perspective.  A lot of people looking to purchase a bike like the Stunner for its looks; which is definitely excellent. Other features are also extremely brag-worthy. So if you have the money, go for it – it is definitely worth the money and will also save you bucks with its pretty generous mileage. 1. My stunner gives me a very bad mileage of 32 overall.i have service the bike at regular intervals and have notice that the mileage of the bike reduced after every servicing.

  2. hero ignitor, honda stunner, or Pulsar 135 LS, please help me to make my decision.
my daily running is around 30 to 40 km in city…

    1. mileage
    2. low maintenance(long life)
    3. price
    4. comfort
    5. look

    1. Go for Ignitor or even Pulsar 135 cc.. I would not recommend Stunner since i am an owner of CBF Stunner that I purchased just 7 – 8 months back. But it was the worst I could have for fuel efficiency. It’s just 35 to 40 kmpl. It’s better to go for Hunk or Pulsar. If you prefer the same CC displacement, you could look at any other bike.

          1. Hey Nitin. What bike did you get finally? I’m confused too on these 3 bikes. Ignitor, Pulsar 135 LS and Stunner? Kindly help me dude.

  3. hi frnds,at present im using yamaha szx,it gives milege 35-40kmpl.maintanance is also costly.every week i use to travel more than 1000kms.plz frnds suggest me which bike gives milege of 60-70kmpl in 125-150cc bikes.

  4. Honda cbf stunner is a very very very good bike… In 125 cc segment it’s the best.. I got this bike in feb, 2012 and till then i have invested 0 for its maintenance.. Mileage is 60 (in economy speed).. No vibration problem upto 80km/hr speed.. Top speed is 110km/hr.. No starting problem though it does not have kicker..So in my opinion go for it. You will never regret it..

Best of luck.. Happy & safe riding…:D

  5. Hi friend, I am planning to buy a Honda Stunner / Hero Glamour. Keeping view of the increasing petrol price, please suggest the better option for maximum mileage.

    Best Regards,

  6. Hi friends,
I’m also planning to buy a 125cc bike with good looks. From what I have read from various reviews, CBF Stunner seems to be the best option even though some users have reported low mileage on this.

  7. In 125cc range, it’s good! Average +50 kmpl (as it depends on traffic conditions). Nice grip on road, I own it from Aug 2012 and have driven nearly 6000 kms.

  8. I bought Honda Stunner CBF in the month of March-2013. From then I am getting only a mileage of 35-40. Even after completing all the regular servicings and now after it had completed 6000kms. Guys please suggest how to increase the mileage of my bike. I drive at 40-60 kmph on normal roads. On long rides, I reach 100 kmph.

    1. Regularly change the engine oil upto 2000 km. I have Stunner bike for the past 1.5 years. Ask your bike service dealer to regulate your bike average setting to 2.5 to 3 so that your bike average will improve automatically within a week. Your bike mileage will improve to around 50 kmpl. My bike was suffering from a similar problem but after doing this it’s giving a mileage of around 50 kmpl in city.
